The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 has officially arrived in the Philippines. It is one of the latest devices to arrive in local shores to have Huawei’s HarmonyOS 2 out of the box complemented by a slew of impressive specifications like an OLED screen, a Kirin 900E chip, and dual rear cameras.
The MatePad Pro 12.6 has a 12.6-inch OLED 2560 x 1600 OLED screen that boasts 100% DCI-P3 coverage, HDR10 support, and around 5.6mm bezels at the sides. In addition to its screen, the tablet has an 8-speaker system and supports Huawei’s M-Pencil.
Its 6.7mm chassis houses a Kirin 9000E with 5G support complemented by 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. As for its camera system, it gets a 12MP f/1.8 main shooter, an 8MP f/2.4 ultrawide, and a 3D depth sensor at the rear. Selfies are taken with an 8MP f/2.0 lens.
HarmonyOS 2.0 brings in a slew of added functionality like Service Widgets as well as Mirror and Extend Mode on Huawei laptops among others. A 10,050mAh battery powers the device that supports 40W wired charging, 27W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
