Launched with the Huawei Mate Xs back in February, the Huawei MatePad Pro 4G is now arriving in the Philippine market. As a relatively high-end tablet, the MatePad Pro aims to dislodge some of the established tablets already available in retail.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 4G comes with a rather large 10.8-inch 2560 x 1080 IPS display with a DCI-P3 rating and is expected to produce 540nits of brightness. The brand is using a punch-hole at the top-left hand side for the tablet’s 8MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.
The tablet sports a uniform aluminum rear only broken by its 13MP f/1.8 main camera. Inside the chassis is a Kirin 990 chip with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Unfortunately, we’re only receiving the 4G variant instead of the 5G version launched last time.
Powering the device is a 7,250mAh battery charged via a USB Type-C port compatible with 20W SuperCharge. In addition, the tablet also comes with 15W Wireless SuperCharge for those who prefer a wireless charging experience.
