Huawei has confirmed that their teaser was about the upcoming Huawei Nova 4. Set to launch on December 17, 2018, the Huawei Nova 4 will be the first smartphone from the company to have an in-display camera.
Based on the teaser posted, the Huawei Nova 4’s screen will encompass all of the front of the smartphone. The camera will now only peep through a small hole at the top left hand side of the screen.
Details are still scarce but based on the release of the Huawei Nova 3, which had a Kirin 970 (the same chip found on the Mate 10 and P20 Pro), the Huawei Nova 4 might have a Kirin 980 upon release.
