Huawei newest Nova series is now officially in the Philippines, now offering a total of 5-camera setup. The newest mid-range smartphone is even more competitive with a large 128GB storage, 8GB of RAM, and the Kirin 980 processor used by the P30 series.
Astonishingly, the Huawei Nova 5T was able to provide more with a quad-camera setup including a 48MP sensor main shooter, 16MP wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth camera. The photography section is pretty filled up for every need except for long-range zooming which is exclusive to the P30 series for now.
The body is a dual-glass finish with a prismatic line finish to give it a different feel from the usual gradient designs of Huawei. Aside from this, Huawei still surprised everyone by providing its first punch-hole screen at the upper left housing the 32MP selfie camera.
At only 6.26″ with an FHD+ display, the Nova 5T feels light and compact as compared to bulking screens from midrange phones like the F11 Pro and V15 Pro. Although the downside we see are the smaller 3,750mAh battery, still compensated with a fast 22.5W fast charging technology and the non-expandable storage.
Surprisingly, Huawei is definitely all-in with the Nova 5T and surely this is a disruptor once again like what they did with the Nova 2 and Nova 3. If you’re wondering why Huawei skipped the Number 4, its because the number is bad luck in Chinese culture.
The Huawei Nova 5T will be available for pre-order starting September 6th, 2019 until September 13, freebies include a pair of Huawei Surround Speakers worth Php1,990. Additional freebies include 1-year of iFlix subscription.
