Initially teased via Huawei’s Facebook page, the Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G has officially launched in the Philippines. Packing new internals and a 64MP main camera, the Huawei Nova 7 SE is also one of the most affordable 5G-capable smartphones in the current market.

The Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G is positioned a bit higher than the Nova 7i but it comes with a bit more impressive specifications. At the front is a 6.5-inch LTPS IPS 2400 x 1080 display with a punch-hole at the top right for its 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

At the back are quad cameras with AI capabilities. Leading the charge is a 64MP f/1.8 main camera backed by an 8MP f/2.4 ultrawide, a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Like most of Huawei’s mid-range smartphones, the Nova 7 SE 5G doesn’t come with a traditional rear-mounted fingerprint scanner but instead fuses the scanner into the power button.

Inside its chassis is a Kirin 820 5G chip with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The smartphone runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10 and has the brand’s app platform, AppGallery. Fueling the device is a 4,000mAh battery capable of 40W Huawei SuperCharge and 5W Reverse Charging.
