Huawei is refreshing the Nova range with the Nova 9 series. Both devices come with an OLED display, a quad camera setup with a 50MP f/1.8 main lens, and ships with HarmonyOS 2.0 by default.
The Huawei Nova 9 comes with a slightly smaller 6.57-inch 2340 x 1080 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 4,300mAh battery with 66W Fast Charging while its imaging system consists of a 50MP f/1.9 main lens, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and two 2MP f/2.4 shooters for depth and macro.

The Nova 9 Pro has a larger 6.72-inch 2676 x 1236 OLED panel with the same 120Hz refresh rate but gets HDR10 support. Its camera system is largely the same but it receives an additional 32MP f/2.4 ultrawide selfie lens. Battery is smaller at 4,000mAh but supports 100W Fast Charging.

The Huawei Nova 9 and 9 Pro will be available in China starting September 29, 2021 in four color variants: Blue, Purple, Green, and Black. The Nova 9 is available in two versions – 8GB/128GB for CNY 2,699 (PhP 21,000) and 8GB/256GB for CNY 2,999 (PhP 23,500).
Meanwhile, the Nova 9 Pro will come in two models as well: 8GB/128GB for CNY 3,499 (PhP 27,000) and CNY 3,899 for CNY 3,899 (PhP 30,000). No word yet about international availability.
