Huawei outs EMUI 11 rollout schedule in PH

Huawei has announced their devices in the Phlippines will be receiving the EMUI 11 update soon. This new version of the EMUI ecosystem promises new software features, improvements to privacy and security, and overall smoother and faster user experience.

The Huawei P40 and Mate 30 series have already received the EMUI 11 update back in December 15, 2020. Other devices, however, will be receiving it in a staggered manner:

• January 20, 2021 – Huawei Mate XS
• January 27, 2021 – Huawei nova 7 SE
• February 28, 2021 – Huawei P30 Series
• March 3, 2021 – Huawei nova 5T
• March 21, 2021 – Huawei Mate 20 Series

All other devices that support EMUI 11 are expected to receive it by March 2021. The update will be pushed by Huawei Over-the-Air and doesn’t need another user interaction aside from accepting the installation.

• New Quick Ball
• Adjustable Windows
• Updated Multi-Screen Collaboration
• Better Overall Security
• Encrypted Memo
