With Huawei sitting out MWC 2018 in lieu of a standalone event on March 27 for their upcoming P20 series, we’ll have to wait a bit more to get a first-hand look at their latest smartphones. A leak from iChangeZone has shed a bit of light on the P20 series. It seems that Huawei will have notched screens like the iPhone X and the ASUS ZenFone 5.
The P20 (on the left) will be retaining a traditional home button at the front. The P20 Plus (on the right) will be foregoing the home button in lieu of more screen real estate. The P20 Plus is also expected to have a tri-lens camera setup with a 12MP RGB sensor, a 16MP monochrome sensor, and a 16MP telephoto lens.
As for the innards, the P20 Plus is rumored to have a 6.0-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2160 x 1080 resolution. Providing the calculation power of the smartphone is a Kirin 970 (the same as the Mate 10 series) with 6/8GB of RAM. Internal storage is expected to be at 128/256GB. The smartphone will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
