There is just something about Huawei Smartphones particularly their P series being good in their craft for photography, this 2024 they even pushed it further by rebranding the P series to Pura series which means moving forward towards challenges of innovation.
We used the device for 2 weeks and we got a lot of shots that are indeed impressive thanks to its flagship worthy set of cameras.

During the Gary V concert by Grabe as a gesture of appreciation to their riders, we got some surprising shots despite being far away at the ground area and erratic lighting conditions. Thanks to the 48MP telephoto camera we were able to get detailed shots and above average composition.
For reference our distance to the concert stage is coming from the rear part of the grounds stage.
Gary V’s stage was all black so it was challenging to take some of the shots due to the exposure sensor is working hard to level the photos properly, plus the spotlights are too harsh most of the time giving us a hard time taking photos. But nevertheless here are 4 samples from the concert that is social media worthy even if you are at the rear part of the ground level of SM MOA Arena.

We took this photo of the sweeding meatballs in IKEA, using the zoom function you can now go deeper into details and not just getting closer. In the same distance you can see while zooming, the meatball detail is different in depth and texture which is very impressive.
Here are multiple zoom details taking a photo of the tiktok famous SM Mall of Asia giant stuff toy. Here we really are amazed on the details even when reaching x100 zoom, the output is not blurry anymore compared to other smartphones.
On tight shots of taking subjects, we are not surprised on how the Huawei Pura 70 Pro was able to take proper details, but you can see the next level of attention of composition such as color saturation, contrast and that hint of extra sharpness is distinctive of the Huawei photography.
Mostly using the Huawei Pura 70 Pro the camera system is fairly easy to use, just be aware on your mind that you have a lot of modes and capabilities to maximize the smartphone.
