The Huawei Pura 80 series have made their official debut in APAC. As on of their flagship series smartphones, they promise better photography capabilities on the lineup thanks to their switchable dual telephoto system and ultra-large sensor.
The Pura 80 series will come in three models: the base Pura 80, the Pura 80 Pro, and the Pura 80 Pro Ultra.
The Pura 80 packs a 6.6-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED display with a 13MP f/2.0 front-facing shooter while its rear houses a 50MP f/1.4 – f/4.0 variable aperture main lens, a 12MP f/3.4 periscope telephoto, and a 13MP f/2.2 ultrawide. It is powered by a Kirin 9010s chip with 5,170mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Right in the middle of the lineup is the Pura 80 Pro, which comes with a 6.8-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED screen with a 13MP f/2.0 at the front and triple cameras at the back consisting of a 50MP f/1.6 – f/4.0 variable aperture main, a 48MP f/2.1 telephoto, and a 40MP f/2.2 ultrawide. It comes with the same battery and charging capabilities as the base model.
Sitting atop of the series is the Pura 80 Ultra, which packs the same screen and front-facing camera as the Pro variant but takes it up a notch on the rear camera department. The Ultra comes with 50MP f/1.6 – f/4.0 variable aperture main camera, two periscope telephotos (50MP f/2.4 with 3.7x zoom and 12MP f/3.6 with 9.4x optical zoom), and a 40MP f/2.2 ultrawide. Battery capacity is the same as other models, but charging is increased to 100W wireless and 80W wireless.
The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra’s dual telephoto system allows for the cameras to have seamless transitions across its focal lengths with consistent color and detail.
The Huawei Pura 80 series is expected to arrive in the Philippines on August 7, 2025. If you want to experience any of these devices for yourself early, Huawei is holding an exclusive preview at select Huawei Experience stores nationwide from July 26 to August 10, 2025.
