Huawei is set to expand its foldable lineup with the upcoming Huawei nova Flip. While most of their foldables have been positioned in a flagship capacity, this will be the first time that they will be releasing a foldable under a midrange series.
According to its teaser, the device will come with a dual rear camera setup with an LED flash placed on a rectangular platform at the back with a 2.1-inch cover display. Some tips claim that the main camera is a 50MP shooter while its display is a 6.9-inch screen.
The flip phone is confirmed to have an aluminum frame with a gapless design when folded. Rumors say that the nova Flip will have 66W fast charging – significantly faster than the GalaxyZ Flip 6 – and a Kirin 5G chipset under the hood.
Given that the nova series is Huawei’s definite midrange series, it will most likely be less premium compared to the majority of flip phones in the market like the brand’s own P60 Flip and Pocket 2.
We’re going to have to wait until August 6, 2024 for more details for Huawei’s upcoming foldable. Its launch will be joined by other devices like the MateBook GT laptop, MatePad Pro 12.2. and MatePad Air 2024.
