Huawei is gearing to launch the Watch GT 5 series and MatePad Pro 12.2-inch in the Philippines. These devices are one of the brand’s latest offerings and has just launched in Barcelona, Spain back in September 19, 2024.
The Huawei Watch GT 5 series will come in 4 variants: Huawei Watch GT 5 46mm and 41mm, and the Huawei Watch GT Pro 46mm and 42mm. The Pro edition is made out of aerospace-grade titanium alloy and nanocrystal ceramic for increased durability.
The series will come with an AI-integrated “Running Coach” capabilities to aid running performance and help trail runners navigate paths better. They will also support Free Diving with enhanced water resistance of up to 40 meters plus an improve Golf Mode that allows them to lineup with more than 15,000 tier-1 course maps across the world.
Health monitoring capabilities are closely integrated on these watches. Huawei has upgraded their sensors and improved algorithms. You can now track your heart health with Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis, SPO2, ECG monitoring, sleep analysis, and breathing patterns monitoring.
For a step-up for watches is the Huawei Watch Ultimate. It does come with all the amenities of the other watches, but builds on it with an Advanced Golf Course features, enhanced Expedition Mode, and a dual-color, nano-tech ceramic design.
Alongside their new wearable series is the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2-inch. It is being positioned as a creators tablet being equipped with the dual OLED Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display that allows it to have a maximum brightness of 2,000nits, better anti-glare and anti-sparkle, plus a paper-like experience much like their PaperMatte series tablets.
The tablet is paired with the new Huawei Glide Keyboard that comes with a 2-in-1 stylus, keyboard storage, and charging slot. Placing the stylus on its slot automatically pairs it and keeps it topped up and ready.
The Huawei Watch GT 5 series, Huawei Watch Ultimate, and Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2-inch are slated to launch in the Philippines on October 3, 2024.
