The Huawei Watch GT 5 Series have officially landed in the Philippines. Available in two variants, the Huawei Watch GT 5 and Watch GT 5 Pro, Huawei claims that they have been built with advanced features and premium materials.

The Huwaei Watch GT 5 Series come with significant upgrades from previous iterations. Designed to achieve peak performance, they have been built with an AI-powered “Running Coach” that monitors running metrics including ground vertical oscillation, balance, and ground contact time with its IMU sensor, and even suggests performance improvements.

Its Cycling Mode can provide real-time data on heart rate and calories, cadence, and speed. There’s also navigation, full-color maps, and track return for safer rides. External power meter support and post-ride summaries help you track performance and improve training routine.

For golf enthusiasts, the GT 5 series offer swing analysis, optimized 3D maps of more than 15,000 courses including 100 courses in the Philippines. You can also improve play with Green View, Scorecard, and environmental data on wind and slope.

Huawei claims that their watches can last up to 2 weeks on the 46mm variant and 7 days on the 41mm and 42mm models.

Non-sport enthusiasts can also take advantage of the Huawei Watch GT 5 Series’ everyday features. It packs an improved user interface, a one-push screenshot feature, and can even take calls on the smartwatch itself. It also comes with speech-to-text with support for 20 languages including Tagalog. In the latter half of 2024, Huawei will be integrating GCash payment capabilities on the Watch GT 5 and Watch GT 5 Pro.
