Huawei is bringing two new budget-oriented smartphones into the Philippines: the Y6p and the Y5p. Both smartphones are positioned in the sub-PhP 10,000 market with their rather old-school design and MediaTek Helio P22 chipset.

Huawei Y6p

The bigger of the two smartphones, the Huawei Y6p comes with a 6.3-inch 1600 x 720 screen with a notch to house its 8MP front-facing camera. The back, meanwhile, has a triple-camera setup with a 13MP f/1.8 main camera, a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

The Huawei Y6p has a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via its MicroSD slot. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery as well as Android 10 with EMUI 10 although it doesn’t have Google Mobile Services.

Meanwhile, the back is only populated by a single 8MP f/2.0 camera and its LED Flash.
