Huawei is launching another smartphone in their Y series. After the mid-range focused Y9s, the Huawei Y7p aims to bring largely the same experience to a more palatable price point of PhP 9,990.
The Huawei Y7p comes with a 6.39-inch IPS Punch Display with a resolution of 1560 x 720. As you might have guessed, the smartphone comes with a punch-hole for its 8MP f/2.0 front-facing camera. Since the selfie camera already resides in a hole in the screen, the dreaded notch is nowhere to be seen on the display.
The rear of the smartphone comes with a glossy finish and houses its fingerprint scanner and triple camera setup. The Y7p has a 48MP f/1.8 Main, an 8MP f/2.4 Ultrawide, and a 2MP f/2.4 Depth Sensor for portraits and bokeh effects.
The Y7p gets its processing power from the brand’s Kirin 710F, which is their go-to chipset for the mid-range and entry-level market. The chip is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded via its hybrid MicroSD slot.
The device gets its juice from a 4,000mAh battery that charges via a MicroUSB port at the bottom. The device supports 5V/2A (10W) Charging via the supplied cable and wall charger.

The Huawei Y7p is now available for pre-order for PhP 9,990 startinga February 22 until February 28, 2020. Color choices include Aurora Blue and Midnight Black.
