Huawei has announced that they will be dropping the price for two of their products. The Huawei Y9s will have a PhP 1,000 reduction while the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite will receive a PhP 2,000 cut.

Huawei Y9s

Basically an upgrade of last year’s Huawei Y9 Prime, the Huawei Y9s still comes with a 16MP f/2.2 pop-up front-facing camera, which means that there are no notches on its 6.59-inch 2340 x 1080 LTPS screen.

Huawei has moved the fingerprint scanner from the rear to a side-mounted scanner integrated on its power button. The rear has a triple camera setup composed of a 48MP f/1.8 Main, an 8MP f/2.4 Ultrawide, and a 2MP f/2.4 Portrait camera.

In terms of processing capability, it comes with a Kirin 710F chip with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery charged via a USB Type-C port at the bottom.
