The HyperX Cloud III is finally making its way into the market nearly 7 years after the Cloud II. They are improving the classic’s design with new drivers for both the headphones and microphone for better audio quality and improved durability.
The new HyperX Cloud III uses a re-engineered 53mm angled drivers and DTS Headphone:X for more immersive audio on its headphones. These also allow for 3D audio and optimal sound and precision. The earcups use memory foam for cushioning and can be easily replaced as before. The headband has a bit of extra padding than before for more comfortable gaming sessions.
Its volume wheel and mute button have been relocated to the rear of the headphones since there’s no controller box anymore to fiddle around.
Its removable has undergone a redesign as well. The driver is upped to 10mm from the Cloud II’s 6mm for improved audio capture. Its filter is now built into its metal housing instead of a removable foam that can be lost accidentally.
The headset is compatible with 3.5mm audio jacks, USB-C, and USB-A and is bundled with a USB-C adapter. This allows it to be used in multiple platforms including PC, consoles, Nintendo Switch, and multitudes of handheld gaming PCs in the market.
The HyperX Cirro Buds TWS were also showcased at Computex 2023. The Cirro Buds are powered by 8mm dynamic drivers and supports active noise cancelling to reduce external noise while gaming. It supports Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and HyperX says it sports IPX4 water resistant. It is charged via its protective charging for up to 40 minutes to full and can be used by up to 35 hours. They are offering three color variants – Black, Blue, and Tan.
The HyperX Cloud III is priced at PhP 5,990 in the Philippines. It is now available via HyperX’s official Shopee and Lazada stores as well as authorized retailers nationwide.
