HyperX outs Cloud Earbuds, updates Alloy FPS RGB with Kailh switches

Initially a very PC-focused gaming brand, HyperX is now branching out to consoles with outings such as the Cloud Stinger Core and this time, the Cloud Earbuds for the PC and Nintendo Switch. Of course, they haven’t forgotten their roots in the PC market outing an updated version of the HyperX Alloy FPS RGB now with Kailh Silver Speed switches.

HyperX Cloud Earbuds

Featuring a 90° angled plug, a rubberized tangle-free cable, the HyperX Cloud Earbuds offers a less obtrusive gaming experience especially in mobile devices such as the Nintendo Switch. The Cloud Earbuds also comes with an in-line mic for better coordination in multiplayer games.

HyperX’s latest earphones will also come with three sizes of patented silicone eartips to provide the signature HyperX comfort. The brand says that the Cloud Earbuds can also deliver enhanced bass, clear highs, mids, and lows for a more immersive audio and gaming experience.

HyperX Alloy FPS RGB

With its first outing was only available in Cherry MX switches and monochrome red backlighting, HyperX has updated the Alloy FPS to have RGB lighting as well as Kailh Silver speed switches.

The HyperX Alloy FPS RGB has exposed LED lights on the key switch housing that has five brightness levels, these new LEDs offer brighter and more radiant RGB lighting. The keyboard can save up to three custom lighting profiles. Of course, standard gaming options such as Game Mode to disable the Windows Key, N-Key rollover, and anti-ghosting are also thrown in for an uninterrupted gaming experience.

As far as switches go, the Kailh Silver Speed switches on the HyperX Alloy FPS RGB has a light 40g actuation force and are rated for 70 million key presses. As an addition, the keyboard comes with an easily accessible USB charging port at the rear as well as a detachable braided USB cable.

The HyperX Cloud Earbuds is now available in the market for around PhP 2,800 while the HyperX Alloy FPS RGB can be had for around PhP 5,900.
