Audio coming from a television is usually so-so in the world of audiophiles. If you have a brand new 4K TV like ones Sony released a couple of months ago, a perfect companion to fully enjoy your media content is a soundbar. With Sony’s new HT-Z9F and HT-X9000F soundbars, you can now entirely appreciate your content.

Sony HT-Z9F

The Sony HT-Z9F is the first soundbar to have support with 3.1 Dolby Atmos with DTS:X. This allows the soundbar to realize the immersion that Dolby Atmos soundtrack aims to provide. Its 3.1-channel setup also allows you to experience a virtual 3D surround sound experience.

Aside from being paired to the TV, the HT-Z9F also comes with WiFi support to access streaming services for the built-in Chromcast. You can also pair the soundbar to your TV for a wireless experience.

Sony HT-X9000F

Sporting a more traditional 2.1-channel setup, the Sony HT-X900F promises to deliver high-quality audio even in the lower frequency ranges. Designed to be paired with Sony’s X9000F Bravia TV sets, the HT-9000F comes with a slim and sleek design that fit minimalist interiors.

Both the HT-Z9F and the HT-X9000F ships with Bluetooth support, USB connectivity, as well as two HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. Both soundbars also have several presets for different scenarios: Cinema, Music, Game, News, and Sports modes.

The Sony HT-Z9F will be available in Sony stores and authorized partners for PhP 42,299 while the HT-X9000F can be purchased for PhP 31,199.
