After much teasing, the Infinix Note 50 series have finally launched in the Philippines. Touted as gaming smartphones, the range will come with a metal frame, fast charging speeds, and 144Hz displays.
The Note 50 series is made up of 3 smartphones: the Infinix Note 50, Infinix Note 50 Pro, and Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G. Both the Note 50 and Note 50 Pro share a few specifications including a 6.78-inch 2346 x 1080 144Hz displays, a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chip with 8GB RAM (up to 12GB on the Pro) and 256GB of internal storage, and a 5,200mAh battery.
The base Note 50 supports 45W fast charging while the Pro comes with 90W All-Round Charge. Both of them, however, will come with 10W reverse charging. Their main camera is a 50MP f/1.8 shooter though secondaries differ with the former packing a 2MP f/2.4 auxiliary lens and a 13MP f/2.2 front-facing camera while the latter has an 8MP f/2.4 ultrawide and a 32MP f/2.2 selfie shooter.
On the other hand, the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G sits atop the stack with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip with 12GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 6.78-inch 2436 x 1080 144Hz display with a 32MP f/2.2 front-facing camera. At the back are three cameras: a 50MP f/1.9 PDAF OIS main camera, a 50MP f/2.4 periscope telephoto, and an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide.
The Pro+ 5G still comes with a 5,200mAh battery, but improves charging with 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, 10W reverse wired charging, 7.5 reverse wireless charging, and even Bypass Charging.
All three smartphones will come with in-display fingerprint scanners as well as IP64 dust and water resistance. There is AI integration on these devices with Infinix’s AI Assistant called Folas, which enables you to get instant information retrieval and text translation without switching apps.
The Infinix Note 50 series start at PhP 8,999 in the Philippines. Infinix is running a time-limited promo where you can get additional freebies such as a 1-year subscription to Viu and accessories together with these devices. They are also running an exclusive launch on April 24, 2025 through Shopee where you can get them at an even lower price.
