Infinix has launched their “All-Round FastChage” solution including their 260W charging and 110W Wireless charging. Both will offer multiple protection mechanisms to ensure fast and safe smart charging for mobile devices. The company says that its 260W All-Round FastCharge can fill up a 4,400mAh battery to 25% in just 1 minute and complete a 1 – 100% charge in just 7.5 minutes.
260W All-Round FastCharge employs a 4-Pump Intelligent Circuit Design to identify the device’s power requirements and allocates the number of charge pumps needed to work and the upgraded 12C High Rate battery with a multi-lug structure ensures a high charging conversion efficiency of up to 98.5% while increasing battery durability. Infinix says that the battery retains more than 90% of its energy after a thousand cycles.
The wall adapter itself uses a dual GaN material PFC + AHB circuit architecture that provides high power density, smaller size, and more intelligent and safe charging control for a wide range of products. The cable uses 4-core thicker charging cable with 4 21AWG wires and a new terminal structure design. Up to 13A can be carried by the cable to a maximum of 260W.
Infinix’s 110W Wireless All-Round FastCharge claims that it can fully charge a smartphone in 16 minutes. It uses custom small-sensitive coils that have fewer coils than traditional designs and wider coils in the same space. This reduces coil internal resistance and lowers phone temperatures and increases peak power charging time for better wireless charging efficiency.
The charging station comes with a dual coil design for both vertical and horizontal charging. Its base has a built-in fan to improve heat dissipation in high-heat areas.
Aside from faster and safer charging speeds, Infinix assures the its technology will support multiple fast charging protocols including PD 3.0. Over 100 protection mechanisms like 20 temperature sensors are in place to ensure safe operation even in extreme environments as well as monitoring for night charging and bypass charging.
Infinix has yet to confirm what the device will sport their new charging technology. It seems that they are planning to implement these on some smartphones within the year, so we don’t have to wait long.
