The Infinix Zero 40 5G has officially made its debut in India after a month from its reveal. It’s positioned as a midrange smartphone packing a Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chip, plenty of charging options, and high-resolution cameras.

The Infinix Zero 40 5G’s Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset is complemented by 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Taking advantage of its processing power is a 6.78-inch 2436 x 1080 144Hz display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It also gets a dual speaker setup tuned by JBL to complement the screen.

Cameras include a 108MP f/1.8 main lens, a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor at the back; and a 50MP f/2.5 front-facing camera. Infinix has partnered with GoPro for integration on their cameras plus it can take 4K60p videos.

The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W Fast Charging, 20W Wireless Charging, and 10W Reverse Wireless Charging. It will run on XOS 14.5 based on Android 14 and promises 2 major OS updates and 3 years of security patches.

The Infinix Zero 40 5G is being offered in Violet Garden, Moving Titanium and Rock Black colorways. It is priced at INR 27,999 and INR 30,999 in India for its 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants, respectively.

When directly converted the Infinix Zero 40 5G is positioned at PhP 19,000 and PhP 21,000 for its models.

No word yet if it will launch in the Philippines, but there’s a good chance that it will given the brand’s track record in the country.
