The Insta360 GO 3 has officially made its debut worldwide. It builds on the same ultra-portable formfactor of the GO 2 but adds an Action Pod attachment with a touchscreen so it can be used closer to a GoPro.
The Insta360 GO 3 weighs in at only 35g while its Action Pod attachment is at 96.3g. It can shoot up to 2.7K video at 30fps, slow motion at 1080p60fps, and timelapse at 1440p30fps. Recording mode include Pre-Recording, Loop Recording, and Timed Capture. FreeFrame mode lets you adjust the aspect ratio of the footage after shooting.
Videos and photos are stabilized with a 6-axis gyroscope with FlowState Stabilization and 360 Horizon Lock to remove distortion.
Its lens has a 11.24mm focal length and captures photos of up to 2560 x 1440 with various crop factors and supports DNG and INSP formats. The camera can connect via Bluetooth for real-time remote control and preview but can also be used via voice commands.
The GO3 itself is rated IPX8 and is powered by a 310mAh battery. On the other hand, the Action Pod has larger 1,270mAh battery and can be charged via a USB-C port.
The Insta360 GO 3 is priced at PhP 26,000 in the Philippines. The base 64GB variant is now available in stores and will include the GO3 itself, the Action Pod, Lens Guard, Magnet Pendant, Pivot Stand, and Easy Clip.
