You haven’t seen fear until you’ve seen people on IG today

Yes, we all know that Instagram is changing our feed to a more tailored manner. And yes, they may have dug their own grave for that.

Currently, the upcoming update is causing bloggers, brands and Instagram influencers to post numerous pictures asking their followers and fans to turn on the push notifications for their account so they can guarantee some views and engagements.

Love youuuu ?

I guess Instagram is making the lives of the bloggers harder (just like Facebook before). Earning money off the app is not so easy. They have to prove they have a good number of followers and engagements to the brands. By not guaranteeing that the influencer’s followers will not see their sponsored post, they could lose the objective of promoting the brand.

Thus, the only way for bloggers and influencers to guarantee that their followers are seeing their post in the feed is to make sure their followers to turn on push notifications for their account. Which is an unlikely scenario for both the follower and influencer.

I also don’t think that they have understood Instagram’s incoming update properly. I don’t like notifications and I’m guessing many of you don’t either. Stay in the loop by liking posts of you favorite accounts, the accounts you interact with the most are more likely to show up in your feed.

Don’t lose touch with friends just because this new algorithm sucks.
