A petition online made more than 42,000 sign ups to make the game playable in x86 platform, perhaps this is one of the reason why the developers made haste to this request. We might not know, but the trend for Pokemon Go is blazingly fast so we think the call outs recently about the compatibility is indeed a problem for the new trending game.

The latest version 0.29.2 of Pokemon Go now enables x86 based processors to access the game with full compatibility, this includes devices such as ZenFone 2,4,5,6 and even ZenPad.

The update also brings stability to the gameplay and compatibility to the latest Android version N nougat. This is important, especially for Nexus devices that can run the latest version today.
