In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (KCD2), players get to duel and fight Istvan Toth, one of the main antagonists of the game. During the encounter, the player is then confronted with two choices: two dishonorably attack him or duel him. Get to know the consequences of each choice, the rewards, and the conclusion using this guide.
Be warned, spoilers ahead.
The climactic confrontation between Henry and Istvan Toth occurs during the story mission, “Storm”. In this mission, Henry is tasked to escape and also retrieve his father’s lost sword. During this mission, Henry then gets to choose how to finally handle and eliminate Istvan Toth.
I hate to break it to you but there is no difference between the two choices. You only get the Radzig’s Sword after you defeat him. kill Istvan Toth dishonorably, leading to a simple cutscene. On the other hand, you can confront him honorably, leading to a duel.
If you choose to duel, bear in mind that you are weighed down by significant debuffs as Henry just got out of torture. If you did a lot of side quests before tackling this story mission, you can breeze through Istvan Toth as he does not wear any armor. However, be on the lookout for your low health and stamina.
As mentioned above, fighting Istvan honorably or not does not grant you any additional benefits or rewards. To save time, just pick the dishonorable method.
