The Itel S23+ is perhaps one the most affordable smartphones with a 6.78-inch FullHD+ curved AMOLED screen in the market. The goodies don’t stop there as they have managed to include Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the screen, a 50MP f/1.6 main camera, and a 32MP selfie camera.
With such a premium screen on a budget-oriented device, itel has to reign in the costs somewhere. They started with the ancillary lens as it is only a 0.08MP secondary camera. The smartphone is also using a Unisoc T616 chipset though it is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The battery is fairly standard at 5,000mAh but the 18W Fast Charging is lagging behind the competition as some are introducing 33W charging on their entry-level devices. It will come with Android 13 with itelOS 13, which has its own “Dynamic Bar” that mimics Apple’s Dynamic Island allowing you to check for notifications and battery status.

The Itel S23+ is priced at PhP 7,499 in the Philippines. It is now available via Itel’s official Shopee store while its Lazada listing is yet to be posted. According to the former, the smartphone will be on sale with a “PhP 5,???” price tag on October 5, 2023. The device can also be had through Itel authorized retailers nationwide in the near future.
