The Jaecoo EJ6 SUV has officially arrived in the Philippines and will be making its debut at the 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit on October 24, 2024 at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
Also known as the iCar 03, the EJ6 is the Chinese automotive brand’s new-energy solution-powered off-road SUV that fuses technology and aesthetics. It is powered by a six-in-one motor system and full-time electric power.
Available in rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel drive, the former is powered by a rear motor with 135KW of power and 220Nm of torque while the latter comes with additional front motor to produce a total of 305KW and 385Nm.
The rear-wheel-drive models comes with a 65.69kWh lithium iron phosphate battery that powers it to a maximum distance of 421km on a single charge. On the other hand, the all-wheel drive variant packs a slightly larger 69.77kWh battery that covers the same range. Jaecoo says that its 80 KW fast charging battery can go from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
As for equipment, the EJ6 comes with a 9.2-inch instrument panel while its 15.6inch infotainment touchscreen display is powered by a Snapdragon 8155 chip. It also packs a 50W Qi Wireless Charger, a panoramic glass roof, and an optional 12-speaker infinity sound system.
Its chassis is designed with a boxy aesthetic and an all-aluminum build. It measures in at 4.34m in length, 1.9m in width, and 1.7m in height with a wheelbase of 2.7m. Its lightweight chassis enables it to hit zero to 100 in around 6.5 seconds.
