Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines has brought 3 new cars into the Philippines. The latter brings in the Jaecoo EJ6 – an all-electric 4×4 SUV.
The Jaecoo EJ6 comes with a boxy design similar to that of the Jimny with a wheel base of 263cm. The brand says that it can wade water by up to 60cm thanks and has a ground clearance of 20cm. It is equipped with vertical lighting elements at the front, 19-inch alloy wheels, and rear LED taillights.
A pair of electrics motors provide the SUV with 4WD capabilities and 387Nm of torque. It is powered by a 69.77kWh lithium iron phosphate battery from CATL, which promises up to 421km of range. Charging is done via a 6.6kW AC charger that charges its battery from 30% to 80% in 12.5 hours. An 80kW DC fast charger is also available which boosts charging speeds from 30% to 80% to just 30 minutes.
Its cabin is decked with full leather upholstery with a large entertainment system. It is also equipped with a panoramic glass roof and a built-in wireless charger.
The Jaecoo EJ6 will come in rear-wheel and all-wheel drive variants. The former retails at PhP 1.649 million while the latter is priced at PhP 1.799 million. Both will come with a free portable charger, wall charger, and 2-year PMS.
