JBL is expanding the Quantum lineup – their range of gaming-oriented audio devices – in the Philippines. This time around, they are introducing several microphones to improve your live streaming game without much hassle.
The JBL Quantum Stream Studio is their offering in the condenser microphone market. Using a triple condenser, it can record up to 3 voices at once through its 14mm cardioid condenser mics. It has been designed with flat frequency range of 50Hz – 16KHz with support for 192KHz/24-bitr recording to capture small nuances while talking.
You can select from 4 voice pick-up patterns on the mic: bi-directional, stereo, omnidirectional, or podcast. It’s packed with a Dynamic Range Compressor that tries to prevent clipping and keep everyone at the same volume.
Of course, there will be RGB lighting as it is a gaming device. Its tap-to-mute button is RGB and its real-time VU Meter comes with the same lighting as well. You can also monitor your voice directly from the microphone as it comes with a 3.5mm connection. Its EQ can be adjusted via the JBL QuantumENGINE software.
The JBL Quantum Stream Studio is priced at PhP 9,999 in the Philippines and is now available via JBL’s official website and authorized retailers nationwide.
The JBL Quantum Stream Talk is the slimmer relative of the Stream Studio. It still uses a condenser microphone for recording, but focuses on single voice pick-up making it a partner for streaming or online meetings. This pattern also means that it will be focused on your voice instead of picking up other sounds in the environment.
It is equipped with a one-press mute button with LED lights at the top that will turn into red when muted. There’s a control knob to control your gain or the loudness of your voice on-the-fly. Accidental knocks on your desks may be prevented from being picked up thanks to its built-in shock absorber.
The JBL Quantum Stream Talk is now in the Philippines for PhP 3,699. You can get it through JBL’s official website or authorized retailers nationwide.
Looking for a better microphone to take outside? The JBL Quantum Stream Wireless can up your streams or vlogs. It connects through a low-latency 2.4GHz USB-C (or Lightning) receiver that offers up to 100 meters of transmission range.
The microphone itself has an omnidirectional pick-up pattern with adjustable environmental noise cancelling so you can choose from a more natural ambient background noise or just focus on your voice. It also has an adjustable microphone gain through the JBL headphone app. JBL says that it can last up to 24 hours of recording with the charging case.
The JBL Quantum Stream Wireless starts at PhP 6,499 in the Philippines. Two versions are available: USB-C for PhP 6,499 and Lightning for PhP 7,899. You can now get it through JBL’s official online store and authorized retailers nationwide.
