The Lenovo Legion Go 2 has officially come to the Philippines. Their new handheld is powered by AMD’s Ryzen Z2 platform and still pack detachable controllers and large display.
The Legion Go 2 is available in two CPU variants: Ryzen Z2 and Ryzen Z2 Extreme. Regardless of CPU choice, both versions will come with 32GB LPDDR5 memory (7500MT/s for the former and 8000MT/s for the latter) and 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD with a microSD slot for external storage expansion.
Lenovo is using an 8.8-inch 144Hz 1920 x 1200 PureSight OLED panel for its display. This is a downgrade from the original Legion Go’s 2560 x 1600 display, but 1200p at 8.8 inches is perfectly fine and a lower resolution provides better FPS and longer battery life.
Its Legion TrueStrike controllers have been revamped for better ergonomics and improved button layouts. These are still detachable with the right controller being able to be used as a vertical mouse for FPS games. The joysticks use hall effect sensors for durability and to reduce drift issues long-term.
The Legion Go 2 is available in two variants in the Philippines: Ryzen Z2 for PhP 64,396 and Ryzen Z2 Extreme for PhP 73,296. Both are now available through Lenovo’s official website.
