Lenovo outs grenade-shaped portable SSD

Lenovo Grenade SSD

Lenovo has launched the Legion Tactical Mobile SSD – a portable SSD encased in a grenade-shaped chassis. The device was developed in partnership with the creators of the movie Operation Dragon and is currently exclusive in China.

The Legion Tactical Mobile SSD comes in three variants: an empty enclosure version for CNY 299 (PhP 2,300), an enclosure with Operation Jiaolong extras for CNY 399 (PhP 3,100), and a 1TB model for CNY 799 (PhP 6,300) wth Operation Dragon goodies.

If you opt for the SSD variant, you’ll be getting a USB 3.2 Gen2 compatible drive that reaches read speeds of 1050MB/s and write speeds of up to 1000MB/s.

While Legion Tactical Mobile SSD might be an eye-catcher, you might not want to bring the drive through any security x-ray machines like in airports.
