Lenovo outs Lenovo K8 Note and K8 Plus, comes with dual-cameras

Lenovo has been a bit quiet this year. With their acquisition of Motorola, their sister company has been making more noise with smartphones such as the G5 series and the Moto Z2 Play. Lenovo is now breaking their silence in the smartphone market with the new K8 Note and K8 Plus.

The Lenovo K8 Note is the more decked out smartphone out of the two. Lenovo jumps on the dual camera bandwagon with a 13MP + 5MP dual camera setup for its rear cameras. The 13MP camera acts as the primary sensor while the 5MP camera acts as a depth sensor for better, bokeh-licious, photos. As for selfie capabilities, the handset has a 13MP front-facing camera with a full-light LED flash.

Inside the K8 Note is a MediaTek X23 10-core SoC clocked at 2.3GHz complemented by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via the microSD slot. Lenovo sticks to the standard 16:9, 1920 x 1080 display instead of jumping on the 18:9 bandwagon.

The Lenovo K8 Plus, meanwhile, isn’t as decked out as the K8 Note, but it’s still a capable handset. The K8 Plus retains the 13MP + 5MP setup from the K8 Note but the front-facing camera is only an 8MP shooter compared to the 13MP camera of its bigger sibling.

The K8 Plus does have a smaller display with a 5.2-inch screen. The resolution, however, remains unchanged at 1920 x 1080 and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The smaller screen and the same resolution points to a much more packed pixel density of 441ppi.

As far as processing power, the K8 Plus has a MediaTek P25 octa-core SoC clocked at 2.5GHz complemented by 4GB of RAM. Internal memory is handled by a built-in 32GB flash memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD slot. Here are the full specs of both the Lenovo K8 Note and the K8 Plus:
