Teased by Lenovo executive Chang Cheng, the Lenovo S5 is aimed to do battle with the Xiaom Redmi Note 5. Based on the image posted on Weibo, the Lenovo S5 will come with an 18:9 display as well as a full metal chassis.
The rumor mill also points to the Lenovo S5 having some kind of AI smart engine that will allow it to have features such as facial recognition. And since the S5 will is going against the Redmi Note 5, which has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 and 4GB of RAM, it is possible that the Lenovo’s smartphone will have largely the same specifications.
The Lenovo S5 will be made official to the market on March 20, 2018.
