Lenovo teams up with AMD for latest generation of Think Devices

Lenovo has partnered with AMD to deliver their new generation of Think Devices into the Philippine market. They are introducing four devices: the ThinkPad P16s Gen 1, ThinkPad Z16, ThinkPad Z13 Gen 1, and the ThinkBook 15 Gen 5. These are mobile workstations designed to be powerful while still being portable.

The ThinkPad P16s Gen 1 mixes performance and portability for professional users on-the-go. It can be outfitted with an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro CPU with integrated AMD Radeon Graphics that could be used for applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and more. Its screen is a 16.0-inch QHD+ display with X-Rite color calibration while its chassis passed MIL-SPEC testing to ensure durability.

Other features include up to 32GB 6400MHz LPDDR5 memory and up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, a fingerprint reader, and a full-numeric keyboard. It is priced starting at PhP 57,999 in the Philippines.

The AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 6860Z powers the ThinkPad Z13 Gen 1 with up to 32GB 6400MHz LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. Its chassis is made out of recycled materials while still having an iconic craft design.

Designed to go anywhere, the notebook has a FullHD RGB+IR dual camera  with an e-shutter for privacy. Its edge-to-edge keyboard is made to fit the natural finger curve while its inclusion of both a Haptic Trackpad and TrackPoint buttons allow for seamless browsing and usage. It starts at PhP 74,999 in the Philippines.

Powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 9 Pro 6950H with up to an AMD Radeon RX 6500M, the ThinkPad Z16 Gen 1 is designed to boost productivity, enable advanced content creation, and even casual gaming. Starting at PhP 105,999, the workstation offers end-to-end services to support and protect your investment so you can focus on the task.

Lenovo is also outfitting the device with up to 32GB 6400MHz LPDDR5 memory, up to 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, and  a 92% screen-to-body ratio display. For additional security, it comes with a 1080p IR Camera for Windows Hello.

ThinkBook 15 Gen 5

While the ThinkBook 15 Gen 5 is the most budget-oriented of the Think Device range, it doesn’t skimp on features. An AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor is under the hood with up to 40GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and comes with two M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD slots for additional storage.

Lenovo says that it focuses on being quiet and reduces ambient noise, which is especially helpful in teleconferences. Several options are available including an optional Versa Bay drawer within the laptop to contain and charge a pair of earbuds. The notebook starts at PhP 30,999 in the Philippines.
