LG launches “Class” smartphone

Today, LG has officially launched their new mid-ranged Android smartphone dubbed as the “LG Class.”

For the specifications, the devices highlights a 5.0-inch display with a 720 x 1,280 pixels screen resolutions and a pixel density of 294 ppi – fair enough for a mid-ranged smartphone. The design comes with a “slim metal” build coupled with a marginally curved edges. There’s also a 16 GB built-in storage, a microSD card slot that accommodates up to 2 TB of expansion, and a standard 2,050 mAh non-removable battery.

As for performance, it’s powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 410) processor backed by a 2 GB of RAM. It will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, it also sports LTE connectivity and NFC.

The device also has a solid 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a nice 8-megapixel front-facing shooter for all you selfie lovers out there.

The company will be available in Gold, Silver and Blue-Black colors and will be priced around $339 (around Php 15,000). It will hit the store shelves in Korea this September. There’s still no announcement on when it will be released on other countries.
