The LG V60 ThinQ 5G has been officially unveiled. As the brand’s latest flagship smartphone, the device comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, 5G coverage, a 64MP main camera, and a large 5,000mAh battery.
The LG V60 ThinQ 5G is fronted by a 6.8-inch P-OLED FullVision screen with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and a 2460 x 1080 resolution as well as HDR10+. There is a small notch at the top that houses its 10MP front-facing camera. The screen also supports in-display fingerprint sensing.
The V60 ThinQ 5G has triple cameras in a horizontal position. Its main camera is a 64MP f/1.8 shooter backed with a 13MP f/1.9 Ultrawide secondary. Lastly, there’s a Z Camera as a ToF receiver and emitter. The device is also capable of capturing 8K video as well as HDR10+ video.
Inside the IP68 water and dust resistant chassis is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The new chip allows the smartphone to have support for WiFi 6 (802.11ax), 5G connectivity as well as Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC.
A rather large 5,000mAh battery powers the LG V60 ThinQ 5G and is compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+. The device runs on Android 10 with LG UX 9.0. LG is also bringing improved audio on the V60 ThinQ 5G with a 32-bit Quad DAC, stereo speakers, and a 4 microphone setup.
One of the most notable accessories for the V60 ThinQ 5G is a dual screen. A 6.8-inch FullHD+ OLED screen with a 360 Freestop Hinge will be available for the smartphone to add functionality to the device.
