After almost a year of petitioning, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has now approved the petition for the adjustment of taxi flag-down rates from PhP 30 to PhP 40.
Based on the decision, taxis operating around the National Capital Region (NCR), and the provinces which include Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), are now able to charge PhP 13.50 per kilometer and PhP 2.00 per minute of travel time.
