In a post just posted by the LTFRB Facebook Page, they are now ordering for UBER to cease and desist all operations as they are now under suspension for one (1) month. The cause of the suspension is not yet clear, but the order has been filed as of August 14, 2017.

In the one month suspension, LTFRB strongly recommended passing financial assistance to the affected operators during the period. They also mentioned that this would not have happened should Uber’s actions were fair and non-predatory.

We will try to get more updates about this, but it looks like UBER is hereby suspended and considered illegal for today until one month.
