This trend emerged as Jamela, Anthony’s ex-girlfriend, posted screenshots of private messages between him and Maris on a viral Instagram post. Searches for both Anthony Jennings and Maris Racal peaked to 200K and 100K at 12:40am and 1:00am, respectively.
Surprisingly, the surge in searches beat out even President Yoon Suk Yeol’s declaration of martial law in South Korea in the late evening of December 3.
