Maru Gamerpact Esports, the Philippine representative at the MLBB x OPPO Smooth Legend Cup APAC Grand Finals, were named Grassroots Team Champions after defeating five other national champion teams from Southeast Asia.
Maru Gamerpact Esports rose above over 882 registered teams in the tourney. As MLBB’s largest cross-regional grassroots tournament, the event provides a platform for empowering emerging talent to pursue their aspirations.
All tournament matches were played on the OPPO Reno13 5G to allow teams to experience high-performance and lag-free gameplay.
The MLBB x OPPO Smooth Legend Cup APAC Grand Finals featured top teams from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, who competed to claim the title for their respective nations.
During the awarding ceremony that culminated the esports event, Andy Shi, APAC President of OPPO and Eric Wu, Senior Partnerships Manager, Esports Ecosystem at MOONTON Games, recognized the players’ dedication and tournament’s success.
