Maya is adding new features in their digital bank by adding new Savings options and more cryptocurrency. They are also collaborating with local artists and creators including Shanti Dope with a music video that contains an Easter Egg Hunt for a chance to win a portion of PhP 1 million in prizes.
Maya Personal Goals Savings
To make it easier for Filipinos to save, Maya is launching Personal Goals. It boasts 6% interest rate and enables customers to set aside for specific purposes like buying new gadgets, saving for vacations, or emergency funds. The feature will be available within the month via the Maya app.
Users can set personal goals for up to six months and can keep up to five at a time. On top of this, customers with Maya Savings will be automatically be upgraded as Maya Power Users. This allows them to cash in up to PhP 500,000 to their wallet and quickly transfer it to their Maya Savings account.
Additional Crypto Coins
Maya is expanding their cryptocurrency options to include Algorand, Ape Coin, Avalance, Doge, and Stellar to diversify their users’ portfolio. This expands the bank’s support to 15 various coins including Bitcoin and Ethereum. Buying and selling cryptocurrency is integrated to the app for a seamless experience.
Collaboration with Creatives with Hidden Prizes
The digital bank will also be collaborating with local artists and creators. They have joined forces with Shanti Dope for their new music anthem entitled Maya. Hidden in its music video is PhP 1 million worth of cash prizes. All fans and Maya users need to do is look for ten unique cash codes until June 9, 2022. Maya has also reached out to photographer Shaira Luna to co-create Maya’s photo library with a diverse range of talent that reflects the next generation of Filipinos. They aim to rise above the competition by avoiding stock photo models in their promotional materials.
