Major media avenues are already reporting that the super fight is on. But Showtime Sports executive Stephen Espinoza is already tweeting that no agreement has been finalize yet. (Showtime has an existing contract with Mayweather, wherein the boxer still has two more fights left with the said network. On the other hand Pacquiao has a contract with HBO/TimeWarner)
Other sources are confirming this as both side have not signed any deal yet. Both camps are still having issues and no done deal has yet been presented.
London Telegraph on the other hand has confirmed from a source that Pacquiao have already signed the agreement and is already waiting for Mayweather to sign the said document worth 250 million USD (60% to Floyd, 40% to Manny. Pacquiao is said to have started training in General Santos City. Mayweather, on his corner, is expected to agree on the contract and the details will be announced in the coming days; hopefully before the month ends. The May 2 date looks to be solid day for the said match, but it looks like that there are other 2 dates that are being looked into. Most probably, the super mega fight will be held in MGM Grand, Las Vegas.
