MHR Sunbreak Jungle Sub-Camp – How To Unlock
How To Unlock Sub-Camp
- Visit the sub-camp location
- Get the side quest
- Complete the side quest
- Unlock and enjoy the new camp
Sub-Camp Map Location
The new sub-camp is smack in the northern-mid part of the map. Although the Jungle camp is a bit smaller compared to other regions, it makes up for it with its verticality. The sub-camp on a higher area and you need to have two Wirebug charges to see it.
Get Up & Climb
To get to the sub-camp use two Wirebug charges and scale the wall. It might look a bit high but this is doable if you string your Wirebugs correctly. You also need to wall run a bit to reach the top.
Slay Some Hermitaurs
Upon finding the location of the sub-camp your next step is to talk to Oboro the merchant to get the side quest to unlock it. Afterwards, go back to the Jungle to slay 8 Hermitaurs. Hermitaurs are the small red crabs mostly wandering around areas 3, 4, and 11 of the Jungle.
What Are Sub-Camps?
Sub-camps are locations in regions in which you can “teleport” to for convenience. If your target monster can be found wandering near your sub-camp, it’s best to just move there instead of starting with the main one. Sub-camps are also good locations for you to regroup and restock your items. They can also be used to eat dangos should you find yourself forgetting to eat some before leaving the main hub.
