A new mid-range smartphone from Vivo has been spotted. Fresh off the release of the Vivo V9, the Vivo Y71 comes with a 5.99-inch 144 x 720 display, which is the same as the Vivo V7+.
Specifications of the Vivo Y71 include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 with 3GB of RAM, a 5MP front-facing camera as well as a 13MP rear camera. Inside the smartphone is 32GB of internal storage and a 3,285 battery. Measuring at 155.87 x 75.74 x 7.8mm and weighing in at 150g, the Y71 is expected to come with Android 8.1 when it’s released. Based on the images, however, it seems the Y71 won’t have a fingerprint scanner. Vivo has most likely integrated their Facial Recognition software to make up for the missing fingerprint scanner.
It’s said that the Vivo Y71 will launch on April 5, 2018 for CNY 1098 (USD 175 or PhP 9,000).
