Aside from weapons, players can make use of the attachments that come with this mod. Each weapon has specific slots that can be filled with attachments to modify its stats or improve handling. Here is how you add an attachment to a weapon:

  1. Equip or highlight the weapon that you want to modify
  2. Press “Z” to open the  weapon attachment mod menu
  3. Drag the attachment that you want to attach to the corresponding box to add it

Drag Down To Remove & Replace

If you fancy a different attachment, you can simply remove the active one by dragging it with your mouse. Then repeat Step 3 above to add a new attachment.

Craft A Workbench First

Like in vanilla Minecraft, you need to have the materials that you need in order to craft guns in MrCrayfish’s Gun Mod. First, you need to have a Workbench. After you craft it, plop it down and interact with it to open its menu. Good thing here is that the materials for weapons and attachments are displayed. All you need to do is to find them in the game world.

  • Iron Ingot x 5

To craft weapons, interact with the Workbench and have the materials needed ready in your inventory. All of the weapons require Iron Ingots to craft.

  • Pistol – Iron Ingot x 14
  • Machine Pistol – Iron Ingot x 20
  • Shotgun – Iron Ingot x 24
  • Rifle – Iron Ingot x 24
  • Assault Rifle – Iron Ingot x 28
  • Grenade Launcher – Iron Ingot x 32
  • Heavy Rifle – Iron Ingot x 36
  • Minigun – Iron Ingot x 38
  • Bazooka – Iron Ingot x 44, Redstone Dust x 4, Red Dye x 1

Attachment Crafting Recipes

Attachments are crafted as you would with weapons. However, the items required to make them are different and you might need to go around a bit. Make sure to view the recipes first before venturing out to gather them!

Scope

  • Short Scope – Iron Nugget x 2, Stained Glass Pane x 1, Redstone Dust x 2
  • Medium Scope – Iron Nugget x 4, Stained Glass Pane x 1, Redstone Dust x 4
  • Long Scope – Iron Nugget x 6, Stained Glass Pane x 2, Black Dye x 1

Barrel

  • Silencer – Iron Nugget x 4, Sponge x 1

Stock

  • Light Stock – Iron Nugget x 6, Gray Wool x 1
  • Tactical Stock – Iron Nugget x 8, Gray Wool x 1
  • Weighted Stock – Iron Nugget x 12, Gray Wool x 1

Under Barrel

Use Dyes When Crafting

When crafting a weapon, include a dye when you craft. Plop the dye of the color that you want to change the color of the weapon. In addition to this, you can also modify the colors of the attachments using the same method. This makes each weapon that you create a bit unique and personalized.
