Modern Warfare 2 Borderline Mission Walkthrough
- Move forward and follow Alejandro. After reaching the border, wait for Alejandro’s go before you start shooting.
- Go up the ladder and continue following Alejandro. Aim down sights and aim at the civilian to him down. Follow Alejandro into the garage and into the house.
- Move down the hallway and aim at the civilian preparing to attack you. Head back outside and hide behind the van. Evade the first pickup and kill the enemies alighting from the second one. It’s recommended to pick up a primary weapon from the downed enemies here.
- Follow Alejandro into the house. Prepare to shoot at the two civilians as they will start shooting at you after a few seconds. Go outside and meet the police.
- After the rude awakening, shoot at the enemies approaching you. Get one of their assault rifles and shoot back at the enemies coming from the house. Head into the house through the garage with Alejandro.
- Clear the first floor. Be careful with civilians. After clearing the hostiles, move to the second floor. Clear the remaining rooms until your reach the last one.
Mission Reward
Completing Borderline rewards you with the “Chainlinked” Calling Card that you can use in both co-op and multiplayer.

Don’t Shoot At Civilians
The mission involves going around a neighborhood filled with civilians. As part of the Mexican special forces, shooting at one spells a game over. Keep calm and don’t panic as you navigate through the houses. Some civilians may come out and startle you so move slowly and just aim at them to prevent them from attacking.
Watch Out For Ambushes
Similar to the second mission, this map has a lot of close quarters combat. Some enemies will stand behind doors, waiting for you to come in and attack. Move slow and don’t rush.
