Modern Warfare 2 Kill or Capture Campaign Mission Walkthrough & Guide

In Modern Warfare 2 (CODMW2 2022), the second mission that players get to experience is called “Kill or Capture”. Get to know how to navigate this mission, walkthrough, and useful tips using this guide.

Modern Warfare 2 Kill or Capture Mission Walkthrough

1. Walk forward and toggle on your Night Vision Goggles.
2. Head to the nearby house and clear the first floor.
3. Go up and clear the second floor.
4. Head towards the next house with your team and enter through the window.
5. Clear both the first and second floors. Advance slowly and watch out for ambushes.
6. Go outside and protect the downed helicopter. Hunker down and defend the right side and rear of the chopper from enemy units. Defend until an attack chopper comes in to support.
7. Head back out and push forward with your squad. Immediately go prone once the sniper first at your team. Return fire and slowly advance. Eliminate the rest of the snipers while firing and advancing.
8. Wait for the attack helicopter to sweep the building. Move in with your team and secure the first floor.
9. Go up with Ghost and clear the second floor. Enter the final room and interact with the documents on the table.
10. Head back outside and enter the warehouse. Defeat the enemies and inspect the blue container to end the mission.

Mission Reward

Completing Kill or capture rewards you with the “What’s done is done” Emblem that you can use in both co-op and multiplayer.

Advance Slowly

This mission features a lot of close quarters combat. In most difficulties, enemies that land a couple of free hits can spell you your doom. Advance slowly, watch your corners, and try to peak whenever you can. Do not advance haphazardly as enemies can pop out from the doors and even from the ground.

Prepare To Defend

The attack on the downed helicopter can be pressuring as you do encounter a lot of enemy units. Maintain cover and try to pick up an LMG or an assault rifle to fend the enemy waves. Also, take advantage of the ammo refill near the end of the chopper.

Fighting Armored Enemy Units

This mission also introduces armored enemies during your firefight in the warehouse. This type of enemy can take a lot of damage and be hard to put down. Aim for the head and try to hose them down until their helmets break.
