In Modern Warfare 2 (CODMW2 2022), players can use nukes to instantly end matches. Get to know how to use nukes, conditions, how many kills you need to get it, and more using this guide.
There are currently two ways of getting a nuke, or MGB (Mass Guided Bombs) as it is called here in Modern Warfare 2. In normal matches, you must get 30 kills without dying once. For Ground War, you need to control all five points for 45 seconds to see the battlefield end in a mushroom cloud. If done correctly, both result in the immediate end of the match, granting you and your team the win.
There’s no denying it. This condition is extremely hard and you might have to get help from your teammates or stay cautious throughout the whole match. Again, once you die, the count restarts from zero.
Unlike the difficult condition to get nukes in normal matches, Ground War nukes are less rare and you may see them every once in a while. To get the nukes or MGBs, you and your team must take control of all posts. Not only that but you must also hold them for 45 seconds. For the enemy team, this is a scramble to capture at least one point.
Upon fulfilling the 30 Killstreak condition in normal matches, a prompt informs you of the availability of the MGB or nuke. Just use it, wait for a few seconds, and see the bombs fall onto the map. Note that there is no counter for kills. You yourself must take note of it as you reach the 30 kill mark.
In previous installments, calling a nuke immediately ends a round, rewarding you and your team with an instant win. This can only be had after a large number of kills and is essentially a way to signal that you are the top dog in the match. It has been carried over here in the Modern Warfare 2 and you can do it using the conditions mentioned above.
