Modern Warfare 2 Tradecraft Campaign Mission Walkthrough & Guide

In Modern Warfare 2 (CODMW2 2022), the fourth mission that players get to experience is called “Tradecraft”. Get to know how to navigate this mission, walkthrough, and useful tips using this guide.

Modern Warfare 2 Tradecraft Mission Walkthrough

1. Walk right and follow Laswell. Wait for your targets to separate and walk to the one wearing a green shirt. Interact to make the guy sleep.
2. Follow Laswell into the crowd. Get the distraction from Price nearby.
3. Walk up to the alley behind Laswell and plant the distraction device.
4. After the boom, you’ll be stuck in the alley with one of the targets. Pull out your gun and shoot the enemy down. After the brief fight, hide your gun and head back to the main road.
5. After Price whacks an enemy and captures one, be prepared to take out your pistol. Hide behind the nearest cover and wait for the enemies to pop out.
6. Protect price while staying in cover. Use your pistol to deal with the threats.
7. After clearing the area, walk up to Price and use a syringe on the captured enemy.

Mission Reward

Completing Tradecraft rewards you with a “Double Weapon XP Token” that you can use in both co-op and multiplayer.

Follow The Instructions

Tradecraft is a very brief mission and you can finish it in just a couple of minutes. It’s also incredibly easy as you only need to follow Laswell’s and Price’s orders.

Prepare To Fight

Just before you near the end of the mission, a firefight breaks out. Be prepared after you exit the alley and look for cover immediately. As you are only relying on pistols, it may be difficult to down targets from afar and it’s also not advisable to stay in the open as they can quickly gun you down.
